Chiappe × OpenAI
A concise credit for a human-directed, AI-supported editorial collaboration.
What the credit means
Dominic Chiappe establishes the proposition, chooses the questions, contributes professional context, sets the analytical and editorial direction, challenges the work and decides what is published.
OpenAI tools support research, synthesis, drafting, structural development, revision and technical checking under that direction.
The balance varies by publication. Some begin with Dominic’s argument or experience and use AI to test and develop it; others begin with a research question and are built iteratively through evidence gathering, synthesis and editorial challenge. The shared credit acknowledges both contributions without suggesting that either worked independently.
Evidence and judgement
LecXie aims to distinguish sourced evidence, interpretation, inference and speculation. Linked sources allow readers to inspect important claims. AI assistance can broaden and accelerate analysis, but it can also reproduce errors, overlook context or express uncertainty too confidently. Dominic reviews the material and retains final editorial responsibility for publication, correction and continuing maintenance.
A note on the name
“OpenAI” identifies the AI tools used in the collaboration. It does not imply that OpenAI has reviewed, approved or endorsed an article or its conclusions.
In short: the ideas are steered, tested and published by Dominic Chiappe; the research and writing process is materially supported by OpenAI.
